Samsung Smart Home - Complete Alexa Skill
The Samsung Home appliances have become even more convenient with Alexa.
The Complete version of the Samsung Smart Home skill works with the Samsung robot vacuum, washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, and air conditioner.
To get started, register your smart appliances using the Samsung Smart Home app on your iOS or Android device. To use this skill, click the "Enable Skill" button on the Alexa app and link your Samsung account by signing in with the account used in the Samsung Smart Home app.
*Note
- If you see a blank screen after tapping the "Enable Skill" button, go to browser or device setting, allow cookies and refresh the page.
- If you made changes to the device names, don't forget to use the new names to Alexa
Here are the things you may want to try with each appliance.
Robot vacuum
Alexa, tell Samsung to start robot vacuum
Alexa, tell Samsung to set Powerbot to Max mode
Alexa, tell Samsung to return vacuum home
Washer & Dryer
Alexa, tell Samsung to start washer
Alexa, tell Samsung to pause washing machine
Alexa, ask Samsung what mode is running on dryer
Alexa, ask Samsung what is the remaining time on dryer
Dishwasher
Alexa, tell Samsung to do the dishes
Alexa, tell Samsung to cancel dishwasher
Alexa, ask Samsung what is the status of dishwasher
Alexa, ask Samsung what is the remaining time on dishwasher
Refrigerator
Alexa, tell Samsung to start Power Cool
Alexa, tell Samsung to turn off Power Freeze
Alexa, ask Samsung what is the temperature of refrigerator
Air Conditioner
Alexa, tell Samsung to set the air conditioner to Turbo
Alexa, tell Samsung to decrease air conditioner by 2 degrees
Alexa, ask Samsung what is the fan speed of AC
(You can set the temperature between 65℉ – 86℉ on all supported AC units through this skill. However, depending on your AC model, the Samsung mobile app for your specific unit may include a slightly different range.)
